Apple has sent out official invitations for its first event of the year, dubbed “Let Loose,” scheduled to take place on May 7, 2024.

While there’s still much secrecy surrounding the event, rumors about the products Apple will unveil are gaining traction. According to Tech Crunch on Friday (3/5/2024), predictions about the products to be introduced are becoming more prevalent. One such prediction highlights Apple’s focus on the iPad.

It’s rumored that Apple will launch two new models of the iPad, namely the iPad Pro and the iPad Air, at the event. Among the enhancements presented in these new products, Apple is said to be adopting the long-awaited OLED screen technology for the iPad Pro lineup.

Meanwhile, for the latest generation of iPad Air, Apple is reportedly set to release two screen sizes, 11 inches and 12.9 inches. The M2 chip is likely to be the flagship for boosting the tablet’s performance.

Not only that, Apple is also expected to introduce the latest generation of Apple Pencil with new features such as improved pressure detection and support for the Find My feature. Additionally, the stylus is rumored to receive haptic feedback support when connected to the dock, as well as interchangeable tips.

Finally, there’s speculation that Apple will announce the M4 product at the event. Although there’s no confirmation about which Mac devices will be unveiled, there’s a possibility of announcements for Apple devices using the M4 chip at the WWDC 2024 event.

For those interested, the event will be livestreamed on YouTube and the Apple TV app. Apple has scheduled the event for 07:00 local time or 21:00 WIB.
