Vivo is now preparing to release its latest smartphone, the Y200i. This smartphone is said to emphasize an elegant design within an affordable price range.
As quoted from Gizmochina on Wednesday (17/4/2024), the Vivo phone with model number V2354A has appeared on the China Telecom website. From the site, several key specifications including design, storage options, and price are known.
The Y200i will feature a 6.72-inch screen with a resolution of 2408 x 1080 pixels. Rumors suggest that this screen will use an LCD panel, considering its relatively affordable price.
This Android phone measures 165.70 x 76.00 x 7.99mm and weighs 199 grams, indicating that the Vivo Y200i has a comfortable size and weight for everyday use. Vivo relies on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 to support the performance of this phone.
This chipset is paired with several RAM and storage configurations, namely 8GB RAM/256GB ROM, 12GB RAM/256GB ROM, and 12GB RAM/512GB ROM. In terms of cameras, Vivo uses a dual camera system with a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth camera. As for selfies, this phone uses an 8MP front camera.
The Vivo Y200i is equipped with a 6000mAh battery. Other features of this smartphone include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi connectivity, a 3.5mm audio jack, and GPS that supports Beidou navigation.

Aside from the China Telecom website, the specifications of this phone are also displayed on Geekbench and the 3C certification site.
With the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC it carries, this phone achieves a score of 3,199 for single-core and 7,931 for multi-core tests. The 3C certification also reveals that the Vivo Y200i will support 44W fast charging capabilities.

Meanwhile, leaks from China Telecom reveal the price range of the Vivo Y200i. This phone will be sold starting from 1,799 yuan (around $280) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM version. The 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM and 512GB variants are priced at 1,899 yuan (around $295) and 1,999 yuan (around $310) respectively.
