PT Tera Data Indonusa, through the Axioo Class program, will establish three internationally standardized artificial intelligence (AI) laboratories in several Vocational High Schools (SMK) across Indonesia. Vice President of Business Development & Strategic Partnership at PT Tera Data Indonusa, Timmy Theopelus, announced that these three AI laboratories will be donated to several schools, including SMK Pertiwi in Kuningan, West Java.
“The program is called AI For Youth, utilizing Intel’s curriculum. There will be three AI laboratories that we will donate to several schools, one of which is SMK Pertiwi,” said Timmy on Wednesday (5/6/2024) at SMK Pertiwi, Kuningan, West Java.
Axioo AI For Youth Start When?
Timmy explained that the AI For Youth program will commence in August 2024, with a primary focus on robotics, aiming to support Industry 5.0 in Indonesia. “The AI focus in this program is on robotics to support Industry 5.0, where robots can collaborate and communicate with humans. Additionally, the curriculum also includes machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and large language model (LLM),” Timmy explained.
This initiative aims to enhance the skills of vocational school students in advanced technology and prepare them to face future industry challenges. With the presence of internationally standardized AI laboratories, students will gain valuable practical experience, strengthening Indonesia’s position in global technological advancement. This step is expected to foster the emergence of young talents ready to contribute to the modern technology industry.
